Muskrat Sally

One of the pitfalls of being the child of immigrants is that you occasionally mess up idioms and popular sayings. Yesterday I found out it’s actually. “Mustang Sally,” not “Muskrat Sally.”

  1. Lol this is hilarious… Being a child of an immigrant myself, I had the same issues… except mine was with sayings. Most of what my dad would say included a camel. For example, “If a camel saw it’s hump it would fall and break it’s back.” – What does that even mean?

  2. I love it! I can’t stop laughing.

  3. hahahahahaha oh muskrat salley

  4. I once had a coworker from Vietnam tell our boss it was time to wake up and smell the marijuana. She explained later that she couldn’t remember the exact idiom, but knew you had to smell some kind of pot.
